In the end of October of 2022, I traveled to Port Saint Joe to met a buddy of mine to go gator hunting, I arrived a couple hours early to grab a bite to eat, which I ended up going to the View on Old 98 all the seats were taken so I sat down at the bar to order some sushi. I saw this girl in the corner of my eye, she was a beautiful girl that caught my attention, so I asked the server who is that and they told me her name. So after I got my ticket I payed and was about to leave and I heard this girl, Katerina say she works two jobs here and dermatology office in town, so I tried talking to her but she was “to busy” so I waited around till she was able to talk, so I asked for her number and she said she didn’t want to give it out, so I left sadly but before I left I over heard them talking about her birthday coming up on that weekend, so I asked my server when her birthday was I got her birthday and still left with no good luck with getting her number. So since I knew when her birthday was and where she worked in town I got the name and number and sent her flowers on her birthday with a card with my name and number, a couple days later still haven’t heard back from this girl so I’m thinking to myself wow still no luck, couple days go by and I finally got a txt from her saying hey this is Katerina, days go by and we starting talking. So I had to met the dad, it was scary and super nervous but the conversation actually went better than I imagined. So I txted her at told her I met your father and everything went well. So we went to dinner to officially met in person. We both had a lot in common. Both go to church both like the outdoors and both like to be on the water. So couple more weeks go by and I officially asked her out and she said yes. We officially started dating in November of 2022.

Everyday we continue to grow closer with each other and the Lord. Can’t imagine where my life would be if I didn’t come down to port Saint Joe that night for a gator hunting. The girl of my dreams was in love with me and to this day I have no words for how God has worked things out the way he has. This is only the beginning, and we are ready to be married and continue our love story for the glory of the Lord
